Pacific Tur at Busworld Europe Brussels — Recap

Busworld Europe Brussels is the largest dedicated bus and coach exhibition in the world, and our return to the event in October was, for the Pacific Tur team, a confirmation of where the market is heading. Over four days at Brussels Expo we hosted operators from across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the wider European market — and the conversations were consistently the same: operators are specifying premium minibuses with a precision that simply did not exist five years ago.

Our stand featured three vehicles: a 16-seat executive specification, a 19-seat airport-transfer build, and the public debut of our 22-seat tour configuration. The 22-seat drew the most sustained interest. Tour operators in particular spent time inside the vehicle, measuring luggage capacity, seat pitch and aisle clearance with a level of detail that reflects how seriously they now treat duty-cycle fit.

Three themes emerged from the visitor conversations on stand. The first was luggage. Operators are tired of compromises that force passengers to keep cabin bags between their feet, or that require trailers to be hooked up for any multi-day tour. The Pacific Tur architecture — one large case per passenger, accessible from a single dedicated rear locker — was repeatedly cited as the deciding factor in shortlisting our vehicles.

The second was glazing. Panoramic side windows have moved from an option to a baseline expectation among premium operators. Visitors told us, again and again, that scenic-route tour passengers now rate their experience as much by the view as by the destination. Every Pacific Tur Sprinter ships with full panoramic glazing as standard.

The third was aftersales. Several UK operators told us, candidly, that they had been let down by suppliers whose aftersales evaporated once the vehicle was delivered. Our model — a UK-based specification and support team that stays involved through the life of the vehicle — was the answer they were looking for.

We left Brussels with a clear set of next steps: a small refinement programme to the 22-seat interior driven by operator feedback, a deeper integration of our telematics partner offering, and a confirmed presence at Euro Bus Expo in Birmingham this November. We're already preparing.
