PrivacyPolicy

Last updated: 16 May 2026. This page is provided in plain English for clarity. UK law applies.

This Privacy Policy explains how Pacific Tur UK ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you interact with this website, request a quote, contact our team or subscribe to our communications. We are committed to handling your data lawfully under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

Pacific Tur UK is the UK supply and aftersales arm of the Pacific Tur group. Our parent manufacturing operation is Pacific Tur SRL Romania. Our UK office address and contact details are provided in our Contact page. For any privacy-related enquiry, please write to us via the contact form selecting "General".

2. The data we collect

We collect only the personal data necessary to respond to your enquiries and operate our commercial relationship with you. This typically includes:

  • Identification data: name, role, company name.
  • Contact data: email address, phone number, country.
  • Enquiry data: the content of forms you submit (quote requests, contact enquiries, aftersales requests).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited — collected via essential and (with consent) analytics cookies.

3. How we use your data

We process your personal data on the following lawful bases:

  • Legitimate interest: to respond to your enquiries, deliver quotes, support orders and aftersales.
  • Consent: for newsletter subscriptions and non-essential analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Contract: to fulfil obligations under a commercial agreement (e.g. vehicle supply, aftersales).
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable UK law (tax, accounting, regulatory).

4. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, plus any period required by law. Enquiry data is typically retained for up to 24 months; customer relationship data is retained for the duration of the commercial relationship and a reasonable period thereafter.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with: (a) Pacific Tur SRL Romania, as our manufacturing arm, where required to fulfil your enquiry or order; (b) trusted IT and infrastructure providers operating under written data processing agreements; (c) UK and EU competent authorities where legally required.

6. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK (for example to our Romanian manufacturing arm), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including UK International Data Transfer Agreements where applicable.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict processing; object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

8. Security

We maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Access to personal data within Pacific Tur UK is limited to staff with a legitimate need.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
